Arrival & Location

Arriving

Arriving from the airport: from the airport you can take the bus (Vienna Airport Lines) going to Kagran (takes about 40 minutes). The bus always leaves on the hour between 6:00 and 20:00 and costs € 9,50 one way. Alternatively, you can take the train to Wien Nord/Praterstern. There is a train every half hour. This takes about 25 minutes. At Wien Nord/Praterstern change to metro line U1 and go to Kagran.

From Kagran metro station, it is a 5 minute walk to our house.

The fastest way to the rooms is by taxi (only 15 minutes). I can pre-order a taxi at a flat rate of €48,–. Just let me know – all I need is your flight number …

The bed and breakfast is located very close to Kagran metro station on line U1.

On arrival at Kagran, it is important to take the back exit towards Anton Sattler Gasse. Once out of the station, turn right onto a bicycle path, which leads directly to Donizettiweg.  Turn right into Donizettiweg. The second street on the left (Schlenthergasse) is where you will find the rooms, at No. 17.

The airport bus costs €8 per person and €13  for the round trip.
The train and subway cost €4.40.

Local activities

Old Danube River, Vienna's number one recreation area, is just at the end of our street!

Dining

Again and again you will run into charming restaurants on the banks of the river. You can enjoy the sunset while you have dinner served at tables on a wooden float. In winter, when the water freezes, you can watch the ice skaters making pirouettes.

Ufertaverne

Shopping and entertainment

The Donauzentrum is a huge mall with more than 260 shops offering top brands with the latest in fashion and lifestyle. There you can find a large selection of restaurants and a cinema. And all just a 5 minute walk away from the bed and breakfast.

Recreation

Jogging, swimming, sailing, surfing, cycling, inline skating or simply going for a walk – everything possible next to the Old Danube River, just around the corner. Rent a sail boat or enjoy a picnic in a rowing boat. On a full moon night you get a bottle of Prosecco along with the boat.
