Discover downtown Vienna from the 2nd district

Augarten

Jogging, going for walks, dining or attending a concert of  the world famous Vienna boys choir: just next door at Augarten, Vienna’s oldest baroque garden. Or visit Augarten Porzellan, the 3 century old porcelain factory.

Augarten

Vienna Prater

Just a 10 minute walk away from this holiday rental, the Viennese Prater begins. Known for its famous ferris wheel and amusement park, but also for its endless walking trails, playgrounds, riding stables, cute restaurants or simply for the many meadows ideal for picnics.

Prater

Quick trip to Stephansplatz

Tram number 2 takes only 4 stops to reach the center. Super fast and super easy. The station is located just around the corner and trains run every few minutes and during the weekend all night long. The latest about what’s on in Vienna can be found through the link below.

About Vienna

Arriving

How to get to the ocean suite

PARKING

PARKING

From Monday to Friday 9:00 till 22:00 you have to pay for parking in the 2nd district. One hour costs €2,–. Not too far from the apartment you can find a Shell gas station where you can park 24 hours for €5,–.

Alternatively, it is possible to park the car next to our bed and breakfast at Schlenthergasse 17. There parking would be possible for free for the entire time of your stay. If you come to the B&B first, I would then happily drive you to the apartment.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Twice per hour, a train leaves the airport for Praterstern/Wien Nord. At Praterstern, change to tram number 5 and get off at the 2nd stop called “Am Tabor”.

The fastest way from the airport to the apartment is by taxi (only 15 minutes’ drive). Upon request, I can pre-order a taxi for the transfer for a flat rate of €38,–. In order to do so I would need a flight number.
