Only 4 stops to the center by metro line U2. Super fast and super easy. The station is located just across the street. Trains run every few minutes and all night long during the weekend. The latest about what’s on in Vienna can be found through the link below.About Vienna
The Messe Wien is Austria’s main exhibition center. Just across the street….70,000 m² of exhibition space and a conference center. And recently opened next to it: the new campus of Vienna’s university for economics and business administration.Exhibition Center
From Monday to Friday 9:00 till 22:00 you have to pay for parking in the 2nd district. One hour costs €2,–. Not too far from the apartment you can find a Shell gas station where you can park 24 hours for €5,–.
Alternatively, it is possible to park the car next to our bed and breakfast at Schlenthergasse 17. There parking would be possible for free for the entire time of your stay. If you come to the B&B first, I would then happily drive you to the apartment.
Twice per hour, a train leaves the airport for Praterstern/Wien Nord. At Praterstern, change to metro line U2 and get off at the first stop, called “Messe/Prater”. The the “Prater” exit.
The fastest way from the airport to the apartment is by taxi (only 15 minutes’ drive). Upon request, I can pre-order a taxi for the transfer for a flat rate of €38,–. In order to do so I would need a flight number.
